About Wilson Machinery - Company Profile
Wilson Machinery is the design and manufacturing division of Wilson(WA) Pty Ltd. The company is a wholly owned family firm, the proprietors of which are Gary Wilson, his wife Jean, and their son Ian.. Gary had over twenty years experience of farming and contracting before starting making agricultural machinery in 1983, as a hobby. The machinery proved popular and increasing demands led to incorporation of the company in 1999. Gary and Ian still farm, meaning that hands-on practical experience ensures usable and practical machines that perform well in the field under current conditions. All the machinery sold has been severely tested in the conditions that will apply in the working environment.
The company have always produced innovative design, from the first chain slashers that were built in the 1950s to the wizard vineyard mower mulchers with triple interleaving cutters that slice cuttings into a fine tilth and defy blocking.
Wilson Machinery now produce high quality equipment for agricultural enterprises, state and local government, and sporting bodies. The basis for all designs is simplicity, durability, ease of use, the best performance possible, and reliability, leading to the company motto - Strength, Performance, Reliability. By adhering to this philosophy Wilson Machinery have developed many exceptional products, some of which do not have equals in the world.
The quality of the company and its products were recognised with first place in the 2005 Telstra Business Awards for firms in the category 10 - 20 employees.

Parkland Mower - This 3.7 metre four deck mower has proved itself to be an outstanding performer with the unparalleled ability to follow contours whilst giving a top class finish on large areas such as golf fairways, football ovals, parks, and airports.
Heavy Duty Slashers - A large range is available from one to six metres with single or multiple decks. Strength of design coupled with low maintenance has built a solid reputation for this series.
Road Verge Slasher - Versatility is the hallmark of this machine. A reliable hydraulic side shift system gives the operator the ability to cut into drains and around guide posts on the move. Twin decks follow contours to provide an even cut. Safety for passing motorists is ensured by the blade system which throws cuttings away from the road.
The entire product range is always under review to ensure cutting edge equipment is continually produced. Single items are also manufactured on request.
